Healthcare Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team at a senior living facility in Rushville, Indiana. This flexible position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors by providing personalized therapy services across a diverse caseload, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and assisted living populations. We welcome professionals seeking consistent PRN or part-time hours.

Job Details:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for residents to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving residents' functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to ensure coordinated care.
• Document treatment progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with all regulatory and facility standards.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of a diverse senior population.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as an occupational therapist.
• Proven experience working with senior populations in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to resident care.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, assessments, and documentation standards.
• Flexibility to work a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts.

Requirements:

Applicants must have an active Indiana occupational therapist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination and fulfilling the state's requirements for licensure. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
