Job Description A large hospital located in Fairbanks, AK is currently seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to join their team full-time. Check out the details below: Title: Ultrasound Technologist Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Setting: Hospital Location: Fairbanks, AK Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 4 10‑hour shifts, Days, rotating day off. No call or holidays Pay: Starting wage begins at $33/hr BOE plus relocation assistance, signing bonus and housing assistance Responsibilities Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures. Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes. Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures in accordance with established policies. Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Requirements ARDMS certification required. 1‑2 years’ experience preferred. Acute care experience preferred. BLS certification required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
