Job Description Quick2Hire is seeking an experienced Medical Biller/Collector to join our team! Assignment Details Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift Shift Times: Vary between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Dress Code: Business Casual Requirements High School Diploma or GED required 1–3 years of experience in hospital accounts receivable, medical collections follow-up, or healthcare collections Experience with UB-04 facility claims and institutional claim follow-up Knowledge of hospital billing processes, CPT/ICD coding, and DRG reimbursement methodologies Familiarity with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial payer guidelines Strong communication and negotiation skills for payer interactions Proficient in hospital billing systems and Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for claim denials and payment variances Responsibilities Review hospital accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection activities Follow up with insurance carriers regarding outstanding balances and unresolved claims Perform collection and follow-up activities for facility claims across all lines of business Investigate, resolve, and appeal denied, rejected, or underpaid claims to maximize reimbursement???
