Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid California Driver's License

Possession of a valid California P.O.S.T. 120 Hour Public Safety Dispatcher Certificate; or

Within one (1) year of hire, successful completion of a California P.O.S.T. Public Safety Dispatchers' Basic Course with a minimum hourly requirement of 120 hours; or

Successful completion of a one (1) year probationary period in a law enforcement agency.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

One (1) year of public safety dispatch experience (preferred)

Proof of certificates, education, etc. will be required upon recommendation for employment.
