Job Description Job Summary: Designs and produces drawings of metal fabricationcomponents and products.Creates billsof material (BOM).Determines productspecifications; performs verification/maintenance and product management.Illustrates systems from specifications,source control drawings, sketches, models, prototypes, or verbalinstructions.In addition, will helpensure that quality and safety standards are achieved . Requirements Responsibilities: Responsiblefor creation and maintenance of parts and bills of material Workdirectly with engineering staff to produce drawings and bills of materialfrom sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, along with writtenand verbal descriptions. Workclosely with all departments in the plant to ensure that the drawingsconvey the correct information and are error free. Utilizesdrafting resources to create new tools to carry out above mentioned tasksmore efficiently, including hardware and software design Workfrom customer drawings, company drawings, vendor drawing orspecifications.Use corporatedrawing standards as guidelines Performsadditional related duties as requested or required Skills/Abilities Required: Proficientcomputer skills, including AutoCAD, Windows, Word and Excel Mustbe able to organize and prioritize work Performduties with limited supervision Possessstrong verbal and written communication skills Ableto follow written and verbal instructions Resultsoriented while maintaining attention to detail Mustbe accurate with numbers and reports Capableof maintaining regular and reliable attendance Education / ExperienceRequired: Successfulcandidates should have attained an associate degree in drafting from atwo-year college or technical school.
