We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product selections, demonstrate product features and benefits, and drive sales through effective communication and personalized recommendations. Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, sales performance, and operational metrics, with opportunities to grow into a Department Supervisor position.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight product features and benefits.
• Use upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Process sales transactions accurately and operate the cash register efficiently.
• Handle cash and other financial transactions with accuracy.
• Restock merchandise and maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor.
• Support visual merchandising by maintaining attractive and well-organized displays.
• Assist with inventory management and provide guidance to junior staff on customer service and sales practices.

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process financial transactions accurately.
• Proactive willingness to learn new products and sales techniques and participate in ongoing training.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, collaborative, hardworking, responsible, punctual, focused, and positive approach to teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of retail sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, retail merchandising, and inventory management.
• Customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Bilingual skills.
