Private Process Server (1099 Independent Contractor)

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia (WV). Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near Fayette County. Requirements include West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred), completing 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs, willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested, reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance, access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email, flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and comfort using mobile apps for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities include serving legal documents within assigned areas, managing assignments using ProVest's mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile), documenting all service attempts using the mobile app, including GPS-stamped photographs, completing required service attempts in accordance with client guidelines, returning completed documents and reports accurately and on time, planning routes and managing your own schedule, and maintaining a professional and courteous approach at all times.

We are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals who have strong time management and organizational skills, are comfortable working independently, communicate clearly and professionally, and are comfortable using mobile technology. Value accuracy, honesty, and professionalism. Preferred experience includes private investigators, experienced process servers, law enforcement or security background.

Support includes having a dedicated ProVest liaison for support and training and support on ProVest's mobile applications and reporting requirements.
