Job Summary
Western Municipal Construction, Inc. is actively seeking a highly qualified Project Manager to join our Montana team. This role is focused on the oversight and successful execution of large-scale underground utility projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in water, sewer, and storm drain pipeline infrastructure, combined with a mastery of project lifecycles from inception to completion.

Core Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage all phases of underground utility construction, ensuring projects meet technical specifications and safety standards.

Contract Administration: Lead the management of contracts, including change orders, RFI processing, and ensuring all parties adhere to legal and project-specific requirements.

Scheduling: Develop and maintain rigorous project schedules to ensure timely delivery and efficient resource allocation.

Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, manage vendor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure seamless coordination.

Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of direct project management experience in the construction industry.

Specialization: Proven track record specifically within underground utilities (Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain Pipelines).

Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of contract administration, heavy civil scheduling software, and cost control methodologies.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex logistical challenges in the field.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional documentation and client relations.

Work Environment
This position is based out of our Montana office and requires active involvement with regional project sites. Candidates must be prepared to manage the unique environmental and logistical demands of Montana-based utility construction.
