Bartender PositionCape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is looking for bartenders for its variety of restaurants, bars, and catered events. Our waterfront venues range from elegant to beachside chic and represent the best on the Cape. This individual would prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort specifications and interact with guests in a gracious and friendly manner. The position requires a knowledge of spirits, wine, and food and the ability to work as a team under pressure. The ability to anticipate guests needs and provide memorable experiences are keys to success in this capacity.The bartender's responsibilities include:Preparing cocktails according to established standardsAbiding by all Massachusetts liquor lawsProviding warm and personal service to all guests and anticipating their needsMaintaining a clean work environmentFollowing all cash handling proceduresPerforming all side-work as assigned, including preparation of garnishesSupporting the service teamPerforming any other duties as requested by dining room/catering managementThe individual should have the ability to provide superior service and deliver a high-quality product on a consistent basis.Workers will be paid no less than $21.84 per hour. Overtime hours may be available at a rate of up to $32.76 per hour.Wequassett Resort and Golf Club is an exquisite 27-acre resort on beautiful Pleasant Bay.
