About the Position

• Requirements: Board Certified, Active Illinois License or IMLC. 
• Schedule: Call only coverage 1-2 weekends per month. Fri 10 am - Mon 5 am.

• Providers take call and any emergent cases that present, round on any patients we have, all call, no clinic, cover emergent cases only.
• Avg 3 calls per weekend unless change in condition of a pt. CVU tries to get all questions asked when rounding to avoid phone calls.
• Daily avg census: 7
• Referrals from Cardiology
• Primarily managing CABG cases and/or performing CABG if needed
• AM rounding and as needed for post-surgical patients if changes in condition
