Fleet Services Manager

Fleet Services Manager Reporting to the Senior Director of Administrative Services, the Fleet Services Manager oversees the repair, maintenance, and servicing of EMWD-owned, leased, or contracted vehicles and equipment. The Fleet Services Manager researches and prepares studies and reports on fleet needs, developing proposals to meet current and long-term requirements in alignment with EMWD's Strategic and Operational Plans. The ideal candidate for this position should have supervisory experience in a fleet environment, with a strong understanding of the automotive and fleet industry. The selected candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and outgoing, with a strong ability to engage with the team. Lastly, this person will have a focus on integrity and customer service. Requires completion of the twelfth grade (12) and five (5) years of supervisory experience in the areas of vehicle and equipment maintenance, one (1) year of which is in a supervisory or management capacity. Supplemental college level courses in automotive technology, business administrations, public administration, or a related field are desirable. Requires a valid California driver's license, Class A, and ability to maintain insurability under EMWD's Vehicle Insurance Policy within six months of date of hire are required.
