Education for parents will be a key component of the role. Candidates should be familiar with infant care practices. Experience with high-risk infants is essential. Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support are necessary. Advance knowledge of neonatal assessments is critical. Compliance with safety protocols and guidelines is required. The position demands effective communication with parents and medical staff.
