This role leads the site security program to protect employees, physical assets, intellectual property, customer assets, and sensitive information while ensuring compliance with customer, business, and regulatory requirements. The position partners closely with site leadership, customers, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure working environment.How Will You Make An Impact?You will drive the development, execution, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive security program that protects people, assets, and operations across multiple manufacturing locations. Through strong leadership, risk mitigation, and stakeholder collaboration, you will help ensure business continuity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.What Will You Do?Lead and manage physical security operations for the Memphis and Byhalia facilities.Develop, implement, and continuously improve site security policies, procedures, standards, and controls.Oversee access control systems, video surveillance, asset protection programs, and workplace violence prevention initiatives.Ensure appropriate security controls are maintained in confidential, restricted, and sensitive work areas.Conduct routine security audits and assessments to verify compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and security standards.Perform security risk assessments and develop mitigation and corrective action plans in partnership with site leadership.Establish effective employee entry and exit processes to minimize traffic congestion during shift changes.Conduct routine patrols and train security personnel to identify and report potential security risks.Lead investigations involving theft, security breaches, workplace security incidents, loss of assets, and unauthorized access.Manage and support physical security systems, monitoring tools, and security technology improvement projects.Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees and contractors.Coordinate emergency response activities and support Emergency Response Planning and Continuity of Operations programs.Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related customer audits, assessments, and inquiries.Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and external security partners.Communicate security incidents, trends, risks, and corrective actions to management and key stakeholders.Lead, coach, develop, and manage site security personnel while ensuring effective deployment of security resources.Partner with operational and functional leaders to integrate security requirements into site operations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, investigations, risk assessments, and business needs.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.How Will You Get Here?Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.5-7 years of progressive security experience, including 1-2 years in a lead or leadership capacity.Experience managing or supporting physical security programs in manufacturing, industrial, corporate, or similarly complex environments.Experience with access control systems, video surveillance technology, and physical security monitoring platforms.Experience conducting security investigations, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.Experience supporting Emergency Response Planning and Continuity of Operations programs.Experience collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency response organizations, customers, and internal stakeholders.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong knowledge of physical security principles, including access control, surveillance, asset protection, incident response, investigations, and workplace violence prevention.Understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to corporate and physical security.Ability to identify security vulnerabilities, assess risk, and implement effective mitigation strategies.Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present security information to employees, customers, leadership teams, and external agencies.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and security-related projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop security personnel.Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.Ability to respond professionally and effectively to sensitive or complex security situations.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related business systems.Preferred QualificationsMilitary, law enforcement, or related public safety experience.Professional security certifications (ASIS, CPP, PSP, or similar) preferred.Experience supporting customer-facing security audits and compliance assessments.Experience leading security programs across multiple sites or locations.What Can Jabil Offer You?Along with growth, stability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a global organization, Jabil offers a collaborative environment where employees are empowered to innovate, develop professionally, and contribute to protecting people, assets, and operations.
