Operators are limited by the exams they can perform on patients (Exams on small children and babies are not allowed until evaluation of abilities is done by a manager or QA Tech). An operator provides optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques. Education Qualifications Required Qualifications: If not certified or have limited scope training upon hire, must enroll in the Radiologic Operator training through Essentia Health Educational Requirements High School Diploma Graduate from a Medical Laboratory Assistant Program or complete an internal MLA training program within 1 year of hire Licensure/Certification Qualifications Certificate / Licensure Minnesota: Valid MN Department of Health X-ray Operator certificate within one year of hire or transfer Wisconsin: Current Limited X-ray machine operator permit through the Wisconsin Society of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire or transfer Fte 1 Shift Rotation Day/Eve Rotation (United States of America) Shift Start Time Day/Evenings Shift End Time Day/Evenings Weekends some Holidays Yes Call Obligation No Union USWA Technical Workers Clinic (UTECC) Union Posting Deadline 07/28/2026 Compensation Range $23.92 - $35.57 Employee Benefits at Essentia Health At Essentia Health, we’re committed to supporting your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
