As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule Mon: 04:45 PM - 08:45 PM Tue: 04:45 PM - 08:45 PM Wed: 04:45 PM - 08:45 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location. Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and/or assist with directing visitors in accordance with site protocols. Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with site contacts and/or first responders, and following Allied Universal post orders for the location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
