Keep production moving—own reliability from shop floor to rooftop

When a CNC center stops at 2:00 PM, you’re the calm in the storm. You assess the symptom, isolate the cause across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems, estimate the labor, machine a quick bracket or order the right part, button it up, test thoroughly, and release the asset—downtime minimized, throughput restored.

Your mission

• Drive reliability by reducing unplanned breakdowns and cutting mean time to repair across CNC (numerically controlled) and conventional equipment.
• Execute and improve preventive maintenance—inspecting drives/motors/belts, checking fluids, replacing filters and worn components, cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Conduct safety inspections and uphold standards across all machines.
• Maintain the facility infrastructure: utilities, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and masonry.
• Install capital equipment and associated electrical wiring safely and on schedule.
• Direct and oversee third‑party contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Use and refine the electronic asset management and maintenance record system (CMMS/EMaint) for traceable, data‑driven work.
• Create project plans and deliver clear status reports to stakeholders.
• Pitch in with painting, sheet metal work, and welding; maintain a spotless, organized workspace to 6S.

What sets you up for success

• High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair.
• Mastery of multi‑craft troubleshooting and repair: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical.
• Hands‑on ability to weld, fabricate, install, and repair equipment.
• Comfort with basic math and computers; fast learner who makes sound decisions using procedures and documentation.
• Clear communicator and collaborative teammate; proficient in basic English (read/write/speak/understand).
• EMaint CMMS experience preferred.

Physical capabilities

• Regular activities: standing, walking, bending, lifting, handling tools/controls with hands/fingers, and reaching with hands/arms.
• Occasional activities: sitting, reaching above shoulders, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking/hearing, and tasting/smelling.
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 70 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
