Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Developer located in Springfield, TN. We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Software Developer to maintain and create complex software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for modifications, development and implementation of existing and occasionally new software systems. You will be required to maintain and enhance existing software and conduct feasibility studies on new systems. While your role will include managing Azure DevOps, you will also be expected to code applications, create reports, and integrate code from other developers. To ensure success as a Senior Software Developer, you should have high-level coding skills, in-depth knowledge of programming languages and frameworks, administration of Azure DevOps and outstanding system analysis skills. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a team and have experience in the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities: Design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software applications. Support team members through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. Collaborate closely with IT team to define technical requirements and deliver solutions. Manage project timelines and tasks. Create technical documents for new applications and train staff on software use. Required Qualifications: Computer Science and Software Development skills Back-End Web Development skills Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems Preferred Qualifications and/or experience: Structural Engineering knowledge for supporting manufacturing and engineering software initiatives. Advanced manufacturing and ERP knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills.
