Job Opportunity: Nocturnist Psychiatrist
Our organization, affiliated with a prominent medical institution, is looking for a full-time Psychiatrist to join the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) as a Nocturnist. This role is situated in the vibrant and culturally rich community of Western Queens, which is easily accessible from various parts of New York City, Westchester, and Long Island.
Key Responsibilities- Work 3-4 overnight shifts during weekdays or weekends to fulfill a 40-hour work week.
- Engage closely with residents, providing mentorship and support.
- Participate in teaching opportunities within our adult residency program.
- Contribute to clinical work that reflects the cultural diversity of the community.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
- A valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
This position offers a faculty appointment that aligns with your credentials, experience, and qualifications. You will be part of a multidisciplinary leadership team dedicated to serving a diverse patient population in a major clinical and training environment.
Benefits and Compensation- Competitive salary ranging from $289,000 to $299,000.
