Role Summary

As a Financial Intelligence Analyst - BSA youll play a key role in protecting our customers and the bank from potential fraud and suspicious activities. Youll analyze account activity investigate alerts and make decisions that directly impact the banks risk exposure. This role offers opportunities to grow your expertise in financial crime investigations and regulatory compliance while contributing to a strong ethical risk culture.

Key Accountabilities

• Investigate system-generated alerts internal referrals and customer activity to identify irregular or suspicious behavior.
• Analyze customer and transaction data using various systems and databases to assess potential risk.
• Document findings thoroughly in case management systems including detailed narratives and when appropriate filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to address fraud or compliance concerns and share investigative insights.
• Monitor and report customer and account information identifying trends and patterns to support proactive risk management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and industry best practices through training and professional development.
• Assist with departmental initiatives such as data analysis testing reporting and threshold tuning to strengthen fraud detection efforts.

Education & Experience

Required:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Risk Compliance Audit Banking Business or Law Enforcement
• 1years of experience in risk management compliance audit banking or related fields

Preferred:

• 2 years of experience in risk compliance or fraud investigations
• CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) certification

The pay range represents anticipated base pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on factors including but not limited to work location skills experience education and qualifications for the role.

For certain positions total compensation may also include incentive commission or bonus opportunities not reflected in the posted base pay range.

$46690.00 - $80040.00 per year
