Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time role begins August 3, 2026, and runs through June 25, 2027. With 40 hours per week, you’ll collaborate with a caring staff dedicated to empowering students through both academics and hands-on learning. Your impact will help shape pathways to success for those who need it most.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for Ohio
• Experience or interest in working with high school-aged youth, especially in alternative or dropout prevention settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and advocate for students with diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique educational requirements of each student
• Implement IEPs and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
• Provide engaging instruction that integrates career tech and life skills content
• Foster a positive, respectful classroom climate that celebrates achievement and resilience
