Serra Ford Farmington Hills is seeking an experienced automotive sales consultant, preferably with Ford brand experience, to join our high-volume dealership in one of the fastest-growing markets in the Detroit Metro Area. We are offering a hiring bonus based on experience and the chance to work in a large, established dealership with an excellent location. Responsibilities

• Build relationships and create customers for life by assisting them in selecting vehicles and listening to their needs
• Be a vehicle expert: know products, optional packages, and the latest technology
• Conduct professional and high-quality demonstrations of new and pre-owned vehicles
• Follow up with buyers to encourage referrals and repeat business
• Overcome objections and excel in sales situations
• Report to the sales manager regarding objectives, planned activities, and results
• Bring a positive attitude and your “A game” every day

Qualifications

• Minimum of years of retail sales experience; car sales experience in recommended but not a must
• Ability to quickly learn new product features and offerings
• Current book of business preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Clean driving record
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Domestic and foreign vehicle sales experience is a plus, but not required
