Position Summary:

The Nurse Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

This posting is for the June 26th, 2026 Nursing Assistant – Interview Day.

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for Nursing Assistants to join our organization in preparation for the  opening of our new hospital in May 2027 . Our current hospital will remain fully operational until the transition to the new facility is complete, ensuring continuity of care and training throughout the move.

This is an exciting opportunity to be among the  first group of Nursing Assistants hired and trained  to help build and grow our future teams.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (feeding, toileting, hygiene)
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse
• Answer phones and call lights
• Ensure units are stocked with supplies
• Assist patient transport as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• Vocational diploma - Certified Nurse Assistant preferred.

Experience:

• 6 months to 1 year work related experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and experience working in a collaborative environment.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

• Current and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare provider from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Valid and active Certified Nurse Assistant certification preferred.
