Description Saint Francis Veterinary Center of South Jersey is looking for a f ull- t imeVeterinary Technician to join our General Practice team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Swedesboro, NJ. About You You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end- to- end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients. The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us. Your Experience & Skills Minimum 1-3 years of clinical veterinary experience in a General Practice Setting(direct patient care) CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred Proficiency in sample collection, IVC placement and maintenance, radiographic positioning and vaccine administration Comfortable performing anal gland expression, nail trims and other outpatient procedures Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care) Possesses a positive work attitude Self-motivated Excellent communication and organization skills You’ll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $20 – $26 / hour.
