The Registered Nurse Will:

• Functions independently to assess develop and implement plan of care.

• Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks.

• Establishes plan of care, sets priorities and implements the plan of care with patient/family and team/provider input.

• Builds on knowledge and experience to include more diagnoses and complicated medical patients.

• Demonstrates respect and advocates for the patient's rights, values and belief systems.

• Understands social and cultural differences that might impede patient care.

• Perform daily scheduled patient nurse visits, Perform OBIs, New patient chart navigation and Perform daily post op calls.

• Monitor/work all clinical and prescription pools.

• May assist in visits and procedures for patients seeking abortion services or services for pregnancy loss such as collecting supplies, printing consents, organizing instruments, medications, and/or assisting during insertion of cervical dilators for surgical abortion procedures."

Required Skills

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.

• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
