Sr Production Manager (Wednesday - Saturday)

Sr. Production Manager How will you make an impact? The Sr. Production Manager will report to the Operations Manager and direct production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Manage shift Production Managers and their sub-organizations. Onsite/Work Schedule Day shift Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6am to 6pm (403). What will you do? Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of production through data driven decision making. Maintain visible leadership presence across all production areas. Ensures staffing requirements are met based on production forecast and capacity model. Ensures the successful transition of new product introductions. Works with cross functional team to drive high impact process improvement and efficiency projects. Drive team development and leadership pipeline. Ensures safety standards are met. Ensures quality standards are met. Drives operational culture through ownership, urgency, and standardization. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How Will You Get Here? Knowledge Requirements Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing in an agile environment. Strong proficiency in analyzing data to enable company business goals and objectives with the ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets. Strong knowledge of Six Sigma and Quality systems. Strong knowledge of capacity planning and throughput optimization. Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs. Strong and convincing communication skills. Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (BSEE, BSME, BSEET, BSIE) or equivalent experience required. Requires extensive knowledge of production process activities. 10 or more years of progressive supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
