We have built a flexible work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.What you’ll be responsible for:Circle is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Internal Audit to lead the strategic development and execution of Circle National Trust’s (“the Bank” or “First National Digital Currency Bank”) internal audit program to meet the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (“OCC”)’s regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, this individual will serve as a key leader in executing fiduciary audits.What you'll work on:Lead Circle National Trust’s internal audit program, ensuring the execution of all fiduciary and bank-related audits.Test and verify the effectiveness of internal controls across Circle National Trust’s treasury, trust operations, and technology risk areas.Act as a strategic partner to Circle National Trust’s senior leadership, risk owners and bank examiners, with direct responsibility for preparing and presenting regulatory-related reporting and insights.Collaborate with process and control owners to validate the effectiveness of controls aligned with banking and regulatory requirements.Play an integral role in Circle National Trust’s annual risk assessments, identifying potential areas of exposure and improvement.Support Circle Internet Financial’s overall internal audit program and key operational audits, as needed.What you'll bring to Circle:10+ years of progressive experience in auditing public companies, financial institutions and OCC-related bank examinations.3+ years in a leadership capacity managing teams of auditors.CPA preferred; CIA or CISA a plus.Expert-level understanding of U.S. GAAP, OCC regulatory requirements, and COSO 2013 requirements.Proficiency in utilizing AI tools (Such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex) to conduct audits and testing of controls.Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a track record of influencing executive stakeholders and audit committees.Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or high-growth technology companies preferred.High integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Circle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core.
