AI Solutions Architect Location: Chandler, Arizona (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 Months Role Overview This role is responsible for defining the architectural vision for complex AI, automation, and orchestration capabilities supporting Network AI and Agentic Transformation. The position involves describing solution intent, evaluating system impacts, and defining the architectural runway for new use-cases. The role operates flexibly across Research & Strategy, Engineering & Delivery, and Deterministic Automation, contributing based on organizational needs. This position carries accountability for shaping multi-domain architecture and guiding direction across a large body of work. Key Responsibilities Define architectural vision for large and complex capabilities supporting the Network AI and Agentic Transformation. Work across business and technology stakeholders to shape architecture for AI-enabled use-cases, orchestration patterns, and integration capabilities. Evaluate system impacts, interfaces, dependencies, and architectural implications of new use-cases. Lead the rapid shaping of high-level architecture for complex solutions. Ensure architecture is flexible, modular, and designed to adapt to changing priorities. Contribute to and evolve reusable architectural patterns, templates, standards, and design guidance. Partner with engineering and delivery teams to clarify architecture and support implementation planning. Define and communicate non-functional requirements and architectural guardrails to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and scalable. Support and lead design reviews and architectural assessments to ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose. Required Qualifications Experience defining architecture for large, complex technology capabilities spanning application, data, integration, and automation domains. Ability to operate flexibly across strategy, architecture, engineering, and automation domains. Experience shaping architecture for AI-enabled use-cases, workflow orchestration, and tool integration. Understanding of how to evaluate system impacts, interfaces, dependencies, and non-functional requirements. Ability to translate business objectives into architectural direction and implementation pathways. Experience facilitating solution-driven discussions with stakeholders. Knowledge of enterprise architecture standards, technology governance, and security expectations in a regulated environment. Familiarity with AI and agentic solution concepts, including context grounding and tool interaction patterns. Understanding of deterministic automation concepts, including workflow sequencing and exception handling. Experience working across architecture, engineering, product, and operations stakeholders. Ability to define non-functional requirements covering security, performance, resiliency, and scalability. Experience contributing to reusable reference patterns and architectural standards. Analytical thinking and architectural judgment, including the ability to evaluate solution options. Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain architecture to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in a fast-paced and complex global environment.
