Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - Cupertino, CA

Responsibilities Build and nurture client relationships through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual interactions, applying a digital-first mindset. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, process customer and account information, and demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services. Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging digital and self‑service products to meet their financial needs. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy. Collaborate with branch team members and partners to best serve clients. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically possesses 3–4 years of job‑related retail banking experience or equivalent combined experience and training. National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and RegulationZ; subject to criminal background and credit check. Preferred Skills & Experience Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Effective engagement and communication skills with clients. Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset. Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs reactively and proactively. Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
