This role focuses on hands-on design and implementation of embedded, application, and controls software for foundational technologies and early feasibility assessments.This position partners closely with the Software Lead, systems and test engineers, controls, mechanical, electrical, and clinical teams to translate prototype requirements into robust, working software components with limited guidance. The role drives rapid learning and iteration cycles typical of early-stage advanced technology development, and provides technical input into software architecture decisions.While this role does not directly develop commercial products, it applies sound software engineering practices, code quality standards, and risk-based thinking to prototype and proof-of-concept software.
