Weekly pay Travel assistance available for qualified candidatesDT-Trak Consulting seeks a registered pharmacist to support the Lower Brule Indian Health Center in South Dakota. This federal healthcare facility serves Native American communities through the Indian Health Service. The pharmacist works on site and provides pharmacy services to patients of all ages.ResponsibilitiesReview and verify prescriptions before dispensingEvaluate medication orders for accuracy and allergiesCheck drug interactions and formulary complianceProcess prescriptions in the electronic health recordDispense medications and apply appropriate labelsCounsel patients on proper medication useCommunicate with providers regarding medication adjustmentsMaintain records for controlled medicationsSupport safe medication practices within the clinicQualificationsDoctor of pharmacy or bachelor of pharmacy from an accredited programActive unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. stateMinimum two years pharmacist experience within the past three yearsBasic life support certification preferredExperience with electronic health records preferredStrong communication skills with diverse patient populationsWork EnvironmentRural federal healthcare facility Collaborative clinical team Focus on community health and patient safetyAdditional RequirementsAbility to pass federal background investigation and fingerprint checkMust not appear on the HHS OIG exclusion listCandidate must complete IHS credentialing prior to startBenefitsCompetitive hourly payWeekly direct depositTravel assistance for non-local candidatesDedicated recruiter and credentialing supportAbout DT-Trak Consulting DT-Trak Consulting specializes in placing healthcare professionals in federal and government healthcare facilities across the United States.
