Rotating between BBMP Nuc Med and Main Campus Nuc Med Departments with other fulltime CTMs. Hours at BBMP 630-3 Hours at Main 7-330 Position/Specialty: Nuclear Med Tech Start Date: Start date will be 2-3 weeks from offer Shift: Monday-Friday 7A - 330P with rotating call 7 days a week at Main Campus; BBMP campus 630-3 Weekend Req (Y/N): call only Holiday Req (Y/N): call only Will this traveler float between service lines? Yes General Nuc Med and Cardiology Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes BBMP and Main campus rotating with other fulltime CTMs (Cardiac only) Required/Preferred Years of Experience Required: 3 Years Accepts first time travelers: Yes Certs/License Required: BLS, must be NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certified Education Preferred: B.S. or B.A. State License Required: SCQRSA(State License) in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Experience Required: Bone scans (whole body and 3 phase), HIDA scans, GI Bleed, Lymphoscintigraphy, Parathyroid imaging, Thyroid uptake, Renal scans with Lasix, Lung scans, MUGA scans, WBC infection imaging, and MPI stress tests. Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule: Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. At 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility need. Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
