As part of our Division of Hospital Medicine, you'll have the unique opportunity to mentor and guide the next generation of healthcare professionals-including Internal Medicine and Med/Peds residents and medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. In addition to this role's clinical effort, one potential 0.25 FTE leadership opportunity is available to explore: Associate Program Director for Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Scholarly Activity. This is a key educational leader within the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix.

Preferred Candidates

* Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine

* Experience managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment

* A passion for academic work, including teaching, quality improvement, and innovation

* Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within healthcare
