Pre-Op Unit Lead FT Days

Description The Unit Lead Nurse is responsible for assisting with clinical management and the administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position combines clinical (direct care) and administrative unit responsibilities to ensure effective delivery of evidence-based clinical patient care. Assists with ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. The key components of the Quality-Caring Model (QCM) are interwoven throughout the delivery of care within nursing and nurses are expected to utilize the QCM and a framework for providing excellent nursing care to their patients, developing collegial relationships with the healthcare team, and implementing self-care and self-reflective behaviors to restore balance to one's self. Assists in the promotion of professional growth and development of the staff Functions as the clinical expert and resource, directing patient care activities on the unit, as evidenced by attendance at mandatory leadership classes, courses and inservices. Assists with ensuring clinical quality of care and the integration of the quality caring model in clinical services on the unit as evidenced by meeting targeted quality indicator outcomes, targeted patient satisfaction scores and targeted benchmarks for unit dashboard Works effectively with other units, departments and physicians to support the organizational goals as evidenced by State and Federal regulatory surveys, accreditation and certification findings related to specific area of responsibility Education Bachelor's in Nursing Experience 22 years in your area of practice License / Certification Requirements ACLS Certification BCLS or ACLS Certification PALS Certification Registered Nurse License CPAN or CAPA certified Compensation Range $66.64 - $102.48 / Hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrance Memorial
