Reports to: Executive Steward/Stewarding Manager

Department: Stewarding

Location: Union League Liberty Hill (800 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444)

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean garbage cans.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Sweep and scrub floors.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Maintain trash room area, keep it in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform routine cleaning of kitchen space including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash removal, moving dirty pots and pans and stocking clean equipment.
• Perform daily sweep and mop of 1862 kitchen at 3pm.
• Other duties TBD

Skills and Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to constantly go up and down stairs throughout the day
• Bending and lifting required
