Production Operator - 3rd Shift

Position Summary Production Operator — 3rd Shift (10pm-6am) – Cresco, IA. Responsible for assembling multimedia filters according to Standard Operating Procedures, operating machinery, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Work includes using hand tools, measuring devices, adhesive applicators, media cutting equipment, and quality inspection tools such as calipers and gages. Responsibilities Assembly of multimedia filters following Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Operation of various types of machinery to process materials/assemblies throughout the facility. Inspect parts using quality inspection tools such as calipers, height gages, and other testing instruments. Utilize hand tools, measuring devices, adhesive applicators, and paper media cutting equipment in a safe and compliant manner. Report labor, production, scrap, and other information into production systems. Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow Safety Protocols throughout the plant. Keep work area organized at all times and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Flexibility to move from line to line or position to position as needed, including rotation for ergonomic purposes. Assist with training, instruction, or mentorship of employees in training as required. Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT, Donaldson Safety and Environmental policies/laws/rules and company codes of conduct and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast‑paced work environment. Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees while following Donaldson company policies/procedures. Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal. React to change productively and demonstrate the ability to perform other tasks as assigned. Maintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendance and be able to work non‑traditional shifts and weekends if required. Successful completion of the pre‑hire applicant process, including Drug & Background screenings and a 60‑day probationary period after hire. Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to stand for long periods. Utilization of all required Personal Protective Equipment. Compensation and Benefits Starting pay $24.55/hr ($23.05 base rate + $1.50 shift differential). Benefits include medical, dental, prescription drug coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, Health Savings Account, life/critical illness insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation (prorated first year), and 13 paid holidays. Offers of employment are subject to successful completion of pre‑employment drug and background screenings and completion of a 60‑day probationary period. Work Schedule 3rd shift: 10pm-6am Monday through Friday; Saturdays as needed (6‑hour shift). Requires willingness to work non‑traditional shifts and weekends.
