This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, and first-timers are not accepted. You will work with a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics.\n Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and either RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV.\n General Skills and Work Setting Requirements:\n \n Experience with patient diagnoses including diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants (no EP studies or ablations).\n EKG settings and experience required, including obtaining vitals and rhythm interpretation (sinus node rhythms required).\n Experience with pacemakers preferred.\n Required experience with GE Discovery, IABP, and Impella.\n \n Ratio / Census: 3 Rooms with 5 Beds; average daily census of 8-10.\n Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Merge (Preferred).\n Scrub Color: Provided by the facility.\n Additional Details:\n \n RTO: MAX 7 days.\n Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified.\n Floating: Yes within department and facility, with the possibility to float to a sister campus.\n Call Requirements: 12-15 days/month, including 2 weekends (Saturday/Sunday); late stay as needed.\n Holidays: Expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period; if two major holidays fall in the assignment period, expected to work both; if three major holidays, expected to work two.\n \n Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant, there may be a pushback of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.\n Clinical Screen: Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine fit. If clinical pass and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for a final decision.
