Senior Tax Manager

Responsibilities: Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio Lead, mentor, and develop junior tax staff and associates Oversee tax compliance engagements from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Research and interpret tax regulations, rulings, and legislation to advise clients and internal teams Manage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax-related matters Identify and implement tax savings strategies and risk mitigation opportunities Requirements: CPA license required; MST or advanced degree in Taxation preferred 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning Experience managing and reviewing returns for high-net-worth individuals and business entities Proficiency with tax software such as Lacerte Tax Software, or similar platforms Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment About Us: Chan & Company Inc is a trusted accounting and tax firm based in Culver City, CA, dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality financial solutions to businesses and individuals.
