Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Ensure patient safety, efficient workflow, and adherence to clinical protocols during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately to prioritize care.
Perform and document emergency procedures, treatments, and interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate patient care.
Monitor patient status and vital signs continuously, adjusting care plans as needed.
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, emergency protocols, and safety standards.
Demonstrate autonomy and critical thinking to adapt to diverse clinical situations.

Qualifications:

Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent ER or emergency department experience in a hospital setting.
Current and valid compact RN license.
Proven ability to work independently and handle high-pressure scenarios.
Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred.
Excellent clinical judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
