The successful candidate should have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar role. Charge experience is required, along with the ability to manage a patient ratio of 5-6 on nights. The position includes responsibilities such as blood product administration, IV maintenance, and centralized line management. The nurse will be involved in the care of adult medical patients, including those with conditions such as heart failure, strokes, and other acute medical issues. The unit provides interdisciplinary support and includes services from physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
