Job Summary
The ORT (Operating Room Technician) position is based in Medford, Oregon. This role involves assisting in various surgical procedures within a fast-paced, multi-operating room environment. The technician will support surgical teams by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring smooth operation of surgical activities during daytime shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour days, with Thursdays off, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a multi-operating room facility. Licensure as a CST or eligibility for a 90-day temporary license if non-licensed in Oregon.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurosurgery, vascular, and orthopedic procedures; familiarity with surgical instrumentation from BioMet, DePuy, Synthes, Medtronic, Nuvasive, and DaVinci robot experience is a plus.
• Additional Responsibilities: Assisting with procedures such as neuro, vascular, orthopedic trauma, urology, and general surgery. Equipment utilized includes Siemens imaging tables, Stryker, Olympus scopes, and Neuro/ENT microscopes. Floating to other units or departments may be required.
• Schedule & Call Requirements: Call is required, averaging 50 hours per month with a 15-minute response time to backup staff, with scheduled standby coverage.
