In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands, creating the opportunity to globally grow both brands together./ppBuilt on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking a Forklift Operator Manufacturing to join our team and support our continued growth./ppThis role is responsible for operating and driving a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment, or materials in a productive and safe manner, ensuring raw materials are available and flowing through the manufacturing process./ppEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliPositions forklift over or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load(s) to designated area./liliUnloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device./liliInventories materials on work floor and supplies workers with materials as needed./liliWeighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules./liliCompletes the Forklift Inspection Book/Log at the beginning of shift./liliShrink wraps up to 60 pallets per shift./liliReports to supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards./liliKeeps working area organized and clean./liliUses a scanner gun to inventory transactions./liliSafe house keeping./liliOrganizes and secures stored materials and parts at designated area./liliRemains current on forklift training and certification as required by supervisor, manager, and/or Igloo Safety./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpWhat do we offer?/ppYou are offered an interesting role in a dynamic, fast paced and global environment with great opportunities to grow and take on new challenges. Able to stack four pallets high./li/ulpPhysical Demands Conditions (Applicable to Igloo Operators, Technicians, Leaders, and Other Roles in Manufacturing)/ppStanding Walking Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing./ppPostural Requirements Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks./ppLifting Material Handling/pulliOperator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift./liliTechnician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts./liliWhere possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used./li/ulpFine Motor Skills Tool Use Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision./ppVisual Requirements Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation./ppEnvironmental Conditions/pulliWork is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100120F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter./liliHigh noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required./liliPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task./li/ulpAdditional Job Considerations These roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours.
