Staff Software Engineer

I’m working with a fast-growing Series B AI company that’s looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join its Platform team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has spent most of their career in high-growth Series A–C startups , enjoys high ownership, and has experience building products and backend systems from 0 → 1 and then scaling them .

They’re especially interested in engineers with:

• 7–8+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience
• Experience building APIs and complex third-party integrations
• 0→1 product development and scaling experience
• Startup environments where you’ve had broad technical ownership
• Strong communication and experience working directly with clients or non-technical stakeholders

Founder or Founding Engineer experience is a big plus.

Fully remote — open to candidates in the US, Canada, and Western Europe, with preference for strong overlap with ET hours.

The company recently raised a $30M Series B , is growing 3x YoY , and is still small enough that this person will have meaningful influence over technical architecture and the direction of the platform.
