Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Clinical Nurse Raleigh, North Carolina. The clinical nurse provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, supporting patient education, and partnering with the interdisciplinary team to achieve expected patient outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current, active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring completed through Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) or GE; one (1) year of nursing experience; able to circulate for C-sections; able to triage for OB; Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA or ARC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Nursing Diploma OR Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional Information: Provides bedside point of care testing as required for the patient care plan; organizes and prioritizes care according to patient/family needs; consults appropriate resources in a timely fashion for complex care issues, unusual teaching needs, or discharge planning at high risk; recognizes data from complex situations to determine priorities for care; synthesizes assessment data into a meaningful whole prior to communication to others; develops relationships with families to support their ability to advocate for the patient and their own needs; supports unit goals and performance improvement activities; promotes a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
