Apprentice Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in maintenance and facility services, is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Technician

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $20.09

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Assist in performing basic service or repairs in specialized skill areas such as mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulics/pneumatics, millwright, welding, plumbing, carpentry, painting, locksmith, or machine servicing.

• Select and lay out required materials based on work orders or verbal instructions.

• Assist with requisitioning new supplies and equipment as needed.

• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards while performing maintenance tasks.

What's Needed?

• Participation in a technical/apprenticeship program or equivalent with a minimum of two years of hands-on maintenance experience.

• Basic knowledge of fundamental trade skills to handle basic service and repairs.

• Ability to work from drawings or verbal instructions effectively.

• Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks, including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
