Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Holds or is eligible for North Carolina licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working within diverse school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy, both in groups and individually, targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related professionals to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment
