Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of our band saw equipment. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will be essential in delivering high-quality products that meet our standards.

• Operate all models of band saws, becoming proficient in loading and unloading the machines as directed.
• Cut products within specified tolerance and squareness requirements.
• Read and interpret job routers, prints, and other procedural documents.
• Conduct inspections to ensure product quality.
• Maximize output for any given task while maintaining quality standards.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in machine operation and saw operation.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Understanding of carpentry and general labor.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate band saws.

• General machine operation and carpentry experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

We offer 1 opening on 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm with a 10% shift differential, and 1 opening on 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am with a 15% shift differential. This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $49920.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
