Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Our client, a leading health system in Frisco, CO, is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide quality patient care and perform high-quality images and exams, acting as a clinical resource and role model for unit personnel.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts and vascular.
- May perform cardiac procedures as required by entity.
- Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).
- Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
- Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
- Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.
Requirements
Preferred:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D
- ARDMS registered RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT); ARDMS registered RVT(VT) or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT); or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
- BLS through American Heart Association
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree
- One (1) year of ultrasound experience
- For the state of UT: LRT
Schedule
- Full Time
Compensation
- $38.72 - $65.21/hour
Benefits
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $8,000 relocation assistance for new hires who meet eligibility requirements
- $400/month housing stipend for full-time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties, with at least 80% on-site work at a CommonSpirit facility in Summit County
