Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with Level 1 Trauma experience for a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring strong scrub and circulate skills. Requirements Active IL RN license required in hand at time of consideration, no pending licenses accepted BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent acute care OR experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Level 2 Trauma experience preferred Strong scrub and circulate skills required in Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology Scrub experience in other surgical areas preferred Two professional references required from supervisors within the past 2 years, from most recent employers Proof of COVID vaccination required, booster not required Responsibilities Operating Room unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30am-3:00pm, no block scheduling Call requirement of one weekend shift per month (7a-7p or 7p-7a), no weekday call Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per month) Mandatory float facility - floating required across units within specialty and occasionally outside primary competency, supported by a team-based care model May be required to float to other facilities within a 50-mile radius with as little as 2 hours notice Uses Cerner charting system Perform scrub and circulate duties for General OR, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurology, and Vascular surgeries Navy blue scrubs provided RTO limited to 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive days, no RTO on weekends No holiday RTO and no RTO the day before or after a holiday Local candidates accepted and preferred if residing within 75 miles of the facility, at a reduced local rate Returning resources must undergo full recredentialing and re-attend orientation, even if the break in contract was less than 30 days Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting the assignment First-time travelers may be considered given Level 1 Trauma experience Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-761397 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
