Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping Clerk for an industrial pipe supply distributor in Riverside, CA. This is a temp-to-hire, Monday-Friday day shift position paying $19.00/hr. In this role, you will prepare and process shipping paperwork, enter shipment data into computer systems, and coordinate outgoing orders and pickups at a pipe distribution facility. The schedule is consistent and the position is intended to be long-term.
Pay: $19.00/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift Location: Riverside, CA Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Primary workplace language(s): English Work Environment: Mixed Indoor / Outdoor Responsibilities- Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and other outbound shipping documents.
- Verify orders, quantities, and shipping details for accuracy before release.
- Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and update records in company systems.
- Answer phones and assist with general office and clerical tasks.
- Maintain organized shipping files and office records.
- 6+ months of recent experience in shipping, clerical, or administrative work.
- Basic computer and data entry skills with ability to read and complete shipping documents accurately.
- Experience in a warehouse office, logistics, or order processing environment.
- Familiarity with generating shipping labels, bills of lading, or packing slips.
- Experience working with shipping carriers or freight coordination.
- Comfort working in a combined office and warehouse setting.
- Experience at a supply, distribution, or industrial products company.
