Market Merchandiser Supervisor (Full-Time)
Location: Fayetteville, NC


Schedule: Monday through Friday, with weekends scheduled as business needs dictate.

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic, organized, and hands-on leader to join our team as a full-time Market Merchandiser Supervisor in Fayetteville, NC . In this role, you will oversee a team of Market Merchandisers responsible for servicing multiple micro market locations, ensuring exceptional merchandising standards, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll play a key role in developing your team, driving operational excellence, and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop Market Merchandisers.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.
• Visit assigned micro market locations to ensure cleanliness, merchandising standards, inventory accuracy, product availability, and equipment functionality.
• Monitor inventory, waste, labor costs, and account performance while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Complete inventory audits, report cards, action plans, and performance evaluations.
• Review and approve employee timecards.
• Generate reports and communicate operational performance to management.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and account representatives.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure assigned accounts operate within labor and financial guidelines.
• Develop succession plans and support the growth of team members.
• Lead operational initiatives and special projects as assigned by the Operations or Branch Manager.
• Travel throughout the Fayetteville market using a company vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and customer site requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in retail, food service, merchandising, hospitality, convenience services, or a related industry preferred.
• Experience recruiting, training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze inventory, labor, and operational performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
